Hello Music Lovers
It was a very memorable summer for Monroe Crossing. In June we toured Europe for the 4th time over a 3 week period with performances in the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland and the Czech Republic. In July we had fun with our "outdoor" circuit with shows in Minnesota. We even drove all the way to New York and Vermont for a couple festivals.
It was a privilege to return to the Minnesota August Bluegrass Festival where we were instructors at their Jam Camp. We also had some very memorable shows on the main stage. This festival marked David Robinson's last performance as a "full-time" member of Monroe Crossing. He will be performing with us from time to time but will now be splitting the banjo duties with the very capable Barry St. Mane and Graham Sones.
As the colder months approach now is your last chance to get signed up for Danny Stewart's Bluegrass Cruise. In January we cruise from Port Canaveral, FL to the Bahamas. In February we cruise from Long Beach, CA to Ensenada, Mexico. It's a floating bluegrass festival. Great music, great people and good times!! To sign up please call Danny Stewart at 570-721-2760
