Entertainment, Bluegrass style!

2025

Monroe Crossing’s year begins with another Southeast tour, or what we affectionately call the “Anywhere But Minnesota” tour. This year we perform in Florida, Alabama and Arkansas. As usual, it is anchored by our appearance on Danny Stewart’s Bluegrass Cruise. Hey, you can join us on the cruise in January, 2026! Go to our Specialty Events page for all the details.

In the spring we have performances of The World Beloved: A Bluegrass Mass with choirs in Brookings, SD, Hendrix, AR and Green Lake, WI. We love performing this exciting collaborative piece and are inching our way to our 100th rendition since its premiere in 2007.

In June we are headed to the Yukon in Northwest Canada for the Kluane Mountain Bluegrass Festival. It will be an exciting trip as none of us have ever been to this part of the world before.

We have a very busy summer appearing at festivals, concerts in the park, threshing shows and celebrations in our home state of Minnesota. The summer comes to a crescendo in late September with a little tour out west, anchored around the Frankly Bluegrass Festival outside of Sacramento, CA.

Monroe Crossing returns to Europe this November for our 6th tour of the EU. We currently have shows lined up in the Netherlands, Germany and Switzerland. We will also be performing The World Beloved: A Bluegrass Mass with the Jubilate Choir in Basel. It will be our first performance of “The Mass” in Europe.

As per tradition, the year ends with our presentation of A Bluegrass Christmas. This holiday show consists ofclassic Christmas songs done ‘bluegrass style.’

The fall of 2025 will mark Monroe Crossing’s 25th Anniversary. Wow, some bands don’t even last 25 days! It’s been an amazing ride. We’ll keep on going as long as w are physically able and all y’all keep on showing up!

We look forward to providing you ‘the best in bluegrass entertainment’ in 2025!

We also invite you to join the Monroe Crossing Guard on Facebook. It‘s a great way to keep up with news regarding the band. It also puts you in touch with other Monroe Crossing fans.
